It’s always nice to find a locally-owned and operated hidden treasure amidst all the restaurants in Naples. And goodness knows there are a ton of restaurants in Naples!
Black Eyed Pig is one of those non-descript places tucked off Shirley Street, just north of Pine Ridge Road, that I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. But thanks to my husband, who makes regular trips back to the industrial park, he introduced me to Black Eyed Pig.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich on Texas toast with a side of tri-colored pasta salad and he got the brisket platter also with the pasta salad and a Jalapeno corn muffin. Complete with a huge cup of sweet tea, it was yummy!
If you’re looking for Naples barbecue, I suggest you put this on your list.
